Description
Rusty Oak is a game development studio that started out as a side project at a Lithuanian software development company Telesoftas. The studio name, Rusty Oak, implies the interconnection of nature and technology, life and decay and how it is necessary for a new life and creation to emerge. The core Rusty Oak team is made of artists such as musicians, painters and designers, who came together to realize their ideas in the form of an atmospheric, interactive puzzle game Hurl VR.
History
Early historyConsisting of a programmer Petras Malinauskas and a composer/sound designer Karolis Balčius, Rusty Oak Games was born out of two dudes's pure passion for video games. One thing led to another and next thing you know these two guys have whole team behind them and are making their first video game.
NowRusty Oak Games explore ideas of existence, creation and decay. As a symbol of cosmic storehouse of wisdom embodied within its towering strength, Rusty Oak brings a statement that loss and destruction are necessary for new life to emerge. Thus with each of their creations the studio tries to accomplish something completely different and gain new wisdom in their never-ending cycle of creation.
